Share your maps easily with others by sending a link. You can do this either from the Maps List or directly from the Map View.
Share from Maps List
- Long-press the map you want to share in the Maps List.
You can also select multiple maps by tapping additional ones after the first selection. - Tap the share button in the action bar.
- Select “Share link.”
- Choose the app you want to share with (WhatsApp, email, etc.) and continue in the selected app.
Shared links remain valid for 7 days.
When someone opens the link on an iOS or Android device, TouchTrails will launch and load the map automatically.
If the app is not installed, the App Store or Play Store will appear, allowing the recipient to install TouchTrails. After opening the app, the shared map will load immediately on Android. On iOS you have to tap the link again after installation to load the map.
Share from Map View
- In the Map View, tap the share button
in the action bar. - Select “Share link.”
- Choose your preferred app and complete the sharing process.
Here as well, the link stays valid for 7 days, and opening it on iOS or Android will launch the app and load the map — or guide the recipient to the App Store or Play Store if TouchTrails is not yet installed.
