Create and share a customized image of your map directly from the Map View.
Share from Map View
- Tap the share button
in the action bar. - Select “Share image”.
You will then be taken to the image editor, where you’ll see a preview of the image you are about to share.
Adjust Aspect Ratio
Above the preview (on the right), you can choose the aspect ratio of the final image:
Square (1:1)
9:16
16:9
Customize Your Image
Below the preview, you’ll find several customization options:
Route
If your map contains more than one route, you can choose which route to display.
Tap the Route option and select the desired route.
Style
Here you can:
Switch the map style
Enable 3D Map to render the map with 3D terrain
Choose a custom photo instead of a map style (your route will be shown as an overlay on the photo)
Overlay
Choose the overlay layout and style.
The overlay includes a label — you can change its text by tapping the pencil icon next to the name.
You can also choose what additional information the overlay should display:
Distance
Distance, Gain (distance and elevation gain)
Distance, Gain & Elevation (distance, gain, and elevation profile)
Share Your Image
Once your image looks the way you want, tap “Share image” to share it using your preferred app — for example Instagram, WhatsApp, Email, and others.
